The inner workings of ACD/PhysChem user training
Robert S. DeWitte
Abstract
Among the features in our PhysChem prediction software that we are most proud of, user training stands out head and shoulders. Why? Because it transforms an otherwise static prediction engine into a living expert system, custom tailored to the kinds of chemistry you are doing most commonly in your research environment. It's our way of extending our expertise into your domain.
User training is a subtle thing though, and this note has been compiled in order to help you use it to your advantage effectively, without stumbling on any of several potential pitfalls that are associated with improper use of the feature. We hope this note is helpful, and if you have observations and example success stories that would enrich this communication, please don't hesitate to send them to our technical support team (http://support.acdlabs.com).
