Pfizer Signs Worldwide License Agreement for ACD NMR Software
NMR Data Management System Integrated with MDL ISIS
TORONTO - March 1, 1999 - Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc. (ACD) today announced that Pfizer, Inc. and ACD have signed a five-year agreement that will provide Pfizer with unlimited, worldwide use of:
- ACD/NMR Manager
- ACD/CNMR Predictor and Database
- ACD/HNMR Predictor and Database
Pfizer chemists now have the ability to retrieve, view and process Pfizer experimental NMR data from the desktop. ACD NMR prediction software and databases will provide chemists with the tools to assist with the assignment of NMR shifts.
In addition, as a result of extensive collaboration with Pfizer, ACD has implemented enhanced versions of its software that seamlessly integrate with MDL ISIS software. "The integration of ACD software with ISIS provides easy-to-use accessibility to our NMR products," said Tim Blacker, Director of Sales at ACD. "Pfizer chemists can now access both experimental and predicted NMR data from the familiar ISIS interface - we think this is an added value to companies with a large investment in ISIS."
