ACD/ChemSketch is the Software of Choice in the Caribbean
Toronto, ON, Canada, July 1, 2004 -
Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc.'s, (ACD/Labs') chemical structure drawing and visualization software is taking over the former British West Indies with the gale force of a tropical storm. Higher education institutions in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Trinidad and Tobago have chosen to enhance their chemistry programs by accepting our site license donation of ACD/ChemSketch.
By accepting ACD/Labs' donated site licenses of ACD/ChemSketch, pillars of pedagogical performance such as the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica, can empower their students by allowing them to not only add their drawn compounds to reports assembled within the chemistry department, but also to download the software for use at home.
ChemSketch is ACD/Labs' chemical structure drawing and visualization application for the Microsoft Windows (98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP) operating system. ChemSketch enables the user to draw virtually any chemical structure within the scope of their imagination, and provides the ability to add chemical structures and drawn images, such as lab equipment, Lewis structures, bond orbitals, and graphs, to reports and presentations. Other ChemSketch features include 2D and 3D optimization, importing various structure formats, and OLE linking to enable copying and pasting of chemical structures into other Microsoft applications.
