Advanced Chemistry Development Donates Campus-Wide License of ACD/ChemSketch to SUNY Cobleskill
Toronto, ON, and Cobleskill, NY, November 15, 2002 -
Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) has provided a campus-wide installation of the latest version of ACD/ChemSketch to the State University of New York, College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. ACD/Labs' donation was initiated by Josephine Bissember of the college's Information Technology Services Department, who wanted to introduce ACD/ChemSketch's functionality and capabilities to her fellow staff, faculty members, and students.
ACD/ChemSketch is ACD/Labs' chemical structure drawing and visualization application for the Microsoft Windows (98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP) operating system. The software enables you to draw virtually any chemical structure within the scope of your imagination, and provides the ability to add chemical structures and drawn pictures, including lab equipment, Lewis structures, bond orbitals, and graphs, to reports and presentations. Other ACD/ChemSketch features include 2D and 3D optimization, the importing of various structure formats, and OLE linking, which enables you to paste chemical structures into other Microsoft applications.
