Educator Testimonials of ACD/Labs Software
 |
We have received numerous comments and statements of appreciation regarding ACD/Labs software products. University and college professors, school teachers, and students worldwide have benefited from incorporating our software into their curriculum. We would like to share some of their testimonials with you:

"Bradford University, Department of Chemical and Forensic Sciences,
recommends the use of ACD/ChemSketch for chemical structure drawing.
It is easy to use and the associated 3D Viewer is a real bonus for
teaching stereochemistry."
Dr. Derek J. Maitland
Chemical and Forensic Sciences
University of Bradford
"I cannot believe how wonderful this is!"
"There was nothing like this when I was an undergrad. If there had been, it would have made things so much easier."
First year graduate students using I-Lab
Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
Stanford University
"The I-Lab is ideal for researchers not interested in building spectral or molecular databases, but who need various analytical services on a periodic basis. Educators, particularly at NMR training facilities, will find the program useful as well."
Pavel Simakov,
Online Spectral Tool
Science, 2001, Vol. 291, No. 5511, Page 2179
"The Java applet for drawing structures is very intuitive to use. Response time
is quick. For H-NMR predictions, the ability to see the predicted spectra plus chemical shift tables as well as structure is very useful.
The simultaneous highlighting of a specific region of a structure with associated spectral peaks and chemical shift table values makes I-Lab a wonderful educational tool. It really helps students learn how to analyze and interpret spectra
I-Lab is very popular at Stanford and I strongly recommend site-licensed access for large academic institutions."

"The students like ChemSketch and I hope to promote the use of it throughout the department, by teaching teachers how to use it in their lessons."
Leonard Houser II
Science Teacher
Redwood High School, CA
"My students found ChemSketch very easy to use and I, too, am pleased with the performance of the freeware package. It's certainly better than what we used to use!"
Stephen R. Marsden
Harvard-Westlake School Teacher
Studio City, CA.
