Toronto, Canada, December 14, 2006 - Advanced Chemistry Development Inc. Announces New Vice President of Sales
ACD/Labs is proud to announce Dr. Guy Desmarquets as the new VP of Sales. Guy joined ACD/Labs in 2001 as the Director of European Operations, and managed the development of business across Europe via the ACD/Labs UK office and a network of distributors. Since joining ACD/Labs, Guy has played a catalytic role in the development of the Enterprise Solutions business and creating an environment for superior relationship management with ACD/Labs customers. Prior to joining ACD/Labs, Guy ran his own company in France selling various type of scientific software. Guy's scientific background includes a baccalaureate in Biochemistry from the University of Lyon. In 1983, he also earned a doctorate from the University of Lyon, where he specialized in Molecular Biology.
Guy is a proud father of three, enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and son; he is a wine connoisseur and expert Scrabble player; he enjoys classical music, exercise, and reading history books.
