Barcode support in ACD/ChemFolder

A barcode component can be built into a custom screen form and report in ACD/ChemFolder. A facility is provided to assign fields represented by the barcode including Record ID, Database Name, Structure, Note, and User Data.

Barcode support in ACD/SpecManager

A barcode component can be built into a custom screen form and report of any ACD/SpecManager module. Database fields, such as, including Record ID, Database Name, Structure, Note, and User Data, can be added.

Support of multiple barcode formats

Prior to this release, the only barcode type supported was PDF417. Now users are able to select from a list of common barcode types:

Retrieval of related data

2D barcodes can include different field types simultaneously (structure, user data, and some keywords). This information may be used to retrieve related data records.

Extensive support of barcode scanners

ACD/ChemCoder uses OPOS standard drivers to support a variety of barcode scanners.
