ACD/ChromManager
Key Capabilities
- Import chromatograms from a variety of instrument vendors. Process data in a consistent manner, and store
all of your results in one place, no matter which instrument
was used to acquire the data. View the list of input formats here.
- Attach chemical structures to peaks and let the software
name the structure appropriately.
- Create your own structure-searchable database of
chromatograms, method information, and structures. Retrieve
the most relevant previous separation methods for your new
compound from the database using structure similarity searching,
method parameters, user data fields, and more. Build on previous
successes, and avoid previous mistakes by making previous experiences
accessible to everyone.
- Analyze complex chromatographic data such as LC/UV (DAD, PDA) or LC/IR.
- Peak picking for LC/UV datasets transfers the retention time, peak height, and wavelength of the peak maximum in the UV-spectrum to the Table of Peaks.
- Baseline correction automatically subtracts the spectrum of the solvent background, so that it is easier to identify solute peaks.
- Automatically apply a series of processing steps to
one or many chromatograms using a macro program. Macros can be created from the processing history of a data file. Process, assign structures, and add one application or many chromatograms simultaneously to the database.
- Capture or enter chromatographic data systematically.
Use custom data-entry forms, macro scripts, and interactive
tools to ensure consistent data entry and easy updates to
the database.
- Match peaks, and copy chemical names and structures
from a labeled chromatogram to a related chromatogram with
an intuitive click-and-drag tool.
- Copy and paste chromatograms, method parameters, and structures to Microsoft Office products to quickly and easily create reports. Polished reports can also be created as a ChemSketch or Adobe PDF file.
- Communicate your results across the entire organization by allowing access to your ChromManager databases via ACD/Web Librarian or ACD/ChromManager Enterprise.
- Attach spectra to chromatographic peaks.* Organize
related data files from hyphenated techniques in a clear manner.
See an example here.

* Requires additional ACD/SpecManager modules.
