Accessing the Public Chromatography Applications Database

Some common reasons you may not be able to access the site:
1) You don't have the necessary Java software.
You can download the software for free from www.java.com
2) Your Internet browser is an older version or not compatible with the site.
Web Librarian and the Public Chromatography Applications database work with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher. Download the latest version of Internet Explorer from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx
3) You may need to adjust the security settings on your browser.
- For MS Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, choose Internet Options, and then select the Privacy tab.
- In the Web Sites section at the bottom, click Edit.
- In the Address of Web site box, type wl1.acdlabs.com, and click Allow.
- Click OK.
- Still in the Internet Options dialog box, select the Security tab.
- Click once on the Trusted Sites icon, and then click Sites.
- In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type the address of the
Web site, wl1.acdlabs.com .
- Clear the Require server verification check box, click Add, then click OK.
- In the Internet Options dialog box, click OK.
