Key Capabilities

Available as:
ACD/MS Manager Enterprise
ACD/1D NMR Manager Enterprise
ACD/2D NMR Manager Enterprise
ACD/UVIR Manager Enterprise
ACD/Curve Manager Enterprise
ACD/ChromManager Enterprise
And as a combination of the above modules

ACD/SpecManager Enterprise (for Oracle) is designed for working with remote databases and is thus the preferred choice for large corporations. Encompassing most of the standard ACD/SpecManager module features, ACD/SpecManager Enterprise further enables multiple users to work with the database simultaneously through client-server architecture.

A single database record, for example, can consist of a chromatogram with individual chromatographic peaks linked to all supporting spectroscopic data e.g. MS, UV, IR, and NMR. This hierarchical approach to analytical data storage and company-wide access to the data provides a strong framework for organizations to build analytical data reference systems that can store "work-in-progress" to finalized approved reference knowledge.

The database may be mined in a variety of ways using a mixture of search types including structural, structural similarity, sub-structural, user data, meta data, and spectral. The contents of the database can be visualized, reprocessed, and updated from within the individual data type processing environments.

ACD/SpecManager Enterprise can operate in two basic modes: "Local" (works like the usual ACD/SpecManager) and "Remote" (works with remote database). Furthermore, two access modes can be set for individual users by the Database Administrator: Read-Only or Read-Write. Read-Only mode permits browsing and searching, whereas Read-Write also permits the user to modify the database information content. These modes are further subdivided into different sub-modes according to the types of accessed data.
