Abstract

This article describes the advantages of using ACD/Name to systematically generate International-Union-of-Pure-and-Applied-Chemist (IUPAC) names for organic structures. Jahanbakht et al. compare the differences between Index Name by the Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) and IUPAC nomenclature. The article explains the customizable preference setting and delimits the software's boundaries.
