Prediction of retention times and generic methods for high-throughput chromatography
Daria Jouravleva, Michael McBrien, Eduard Kolovanov
Abstract
In walk-up chromatography and parallel synthesis, high-throughput is the
key. For these applications, generic methods have been designed to apply to
as many different kinds of samples as possible. However, when the sample is
not suited to the method, costly instrument down-time can result. New
ACD/ChromGenius software will advise if methods are viable, and select
between multiple methods where available. The poster presents
physicochemical parameters used to model the chromatographic separation, and
describes applied retention time and method selection algorithm.
