ACD/Labs Systematic Naming: Deploying the Industry Standard Within an Organisation

Abstract

ACD/Labs has been the standard in Systematic Nomenclature software for almost a decade. Since the first release of software, the achievement of the highest quality has been our ultimate goal for both the IUPAC and CAS Index naming rule bases. ACD/Name software is presently used by thousands of chemists and nomenclature experts worldwide. The need for organizational consistency in systematic naming is apparent for global organizations with integrated registration systems. This talk will provide an overview of technologies and approaches to enterprise wide deployment of ACD/Labs Naming technologies including IUPAC Names, CAS Index Names, and Name-to-Structure capabilities.
