The Key Role of Content Databases

Ray Labinas, Guy Desmarquets, Gerd Rheinwald, Tony Williams

Abstract

Databases are playing a crucial role within ACD/Labs software - not only spectral databases to store spectral information, but also non spectral databases used in structure verification, elucidation, and spectrum prediction. The quality of the pre-build databases and the possibility to expand them by creating user defined databases is the basis of our success. This talk presents an overview of the database modules used for structure elucidation, verification, and prediction by NMR as well as their integration in other software modules.
