Advanced Reporting with ACD/Labs' Manager Products

Abstract

One of the most valuable features of an Analytical Data Management System (ADMS), is the ability to extract useful bits of information in a timely manner. The mining of this data needs to be flexible and dynamic as well. It is not acceptable for the system to output a standard report for every query. A custom representation of the data to whoever is consuming it is extremely important for the tool to remain in use by the masses. In the Manager modules of ACD/Labs software, a powerful reporting engine exists to allow the dissemination of the data quickly and completely.

Reporting from this module is very common for current users of the software, but there are likely many advanced options available that users may have remained unaware of. This presentation will seek to resolve this and bring to the forefront some of the most valuable options available in the reporting engine. Specifics such as reporting with customized forms and nucleus sensitive forms will be shown in detail. As well, output formats will be outlined; including the export to PDF and the ability to format posters directly in ChemSketch.
