Analytical Reports and Chemical Publication

Create Compelling Reports and Publications

Our comprehensive chemical drawing software, ACD/ChemSketch, makes it easy to meet the grueling standards demanded by journals for high-quality structural representations, or create user-defined drawing styles to meet your own drawing requirements. Along with chemical structures, you can quickly and easily draw reactions and schematic diagrams, calculate physical properties, generate accurate IUPAC names for your structures, and display them all in a customized manner using user-defined templates designed to meet your standardized reporting needs. Export your work as HTML or Adobe PDF files to create publications that anyone can access, and easily keep track of the publications on your file system using an intensive chemical structure search capability within various document formats.

ACD/ChemSketch is an integral part of any ACD/Labs commercial software package.

With ACD/ChemSketch, you can:

Draw, import, or modify chemical structures with ease. Associate full or partial chemical structures; functional groups or other fragments; generic and Markush structures; and organic, inorganic, and polymeric compounds with the spectra or predicted properties offered by other ACD/Labs packages to enhance chemical interpretation.

"Drag" or read structures from existing ChemDraw files (*.cdx, *.chm), ISIS/Draw files (*.skc), SDfiles, rxnfiles, molfiles, or extended (V3000) molfiles directly into ACD/ChemSketch. Or simply use ACD/Dictionary to obtain a structure from its trivial or systematic names.

Format your structures with the built-in journal formatting templates, created in accordance with the Instructions for Authors for the great majority of chemical publications.

Create your own template that extracts results from other ACD/Labs software to produce one final report at the click of a button.

Create structure searchable Adobe® PDF or Microsoft® Word, Excel, or PowerPoint reports and search them together with standard SDfiles and your various ACD/Labs' databases.

Transfer structures and information to a PDA, and much more.

ACD/ChemSketch is also available as freeware. While freeware ChemSketch does not offer all of the advanced capabilities of the commercial package, it has been and remains an excellent chemical drawing tool for the personal and educational use. Hundreds of thousands of chemists worldwide have downloaded this software since 1998, with installations in all countries of the world!
