5th Annual European Users' Meeting
Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) is excited to announce that our 5th Annual European Users' Meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 19th and Wednesday, October 20th. Our meeting will entail presentations and discussions on the latest capabilities of our software, and its applications within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
View the Agenda, or read below for a general overview of the meeting.
The Users' Meeting will give us the opportunity to:
- Present our solution at the enterprise level to cover analytical chemistry needs, allowing us to:
- Design workflows and create an enterprise level analytical and sample management system
- Access analytical results stored on enterprise systems via a standard web browser
- Automate processes such as spectral data collection, macro processing, and database population and synchronization
- Look up and predict chemical and spectral information via an intranet (allowing assisted chemical structure verification)
- Embed chemical drawing and spectral processing capabilities into your custom built applications
- Add 2D barcoding (ACD/Labs patented technology) to your custom applications
- Cover the latest advancements in our analytical chemical solution and chemical naming product
- Dialog with our customers during break-out sessions about our offerings to meet their actual and future needs
- Describe the ACD/Labs enhancements which improve large deployment and easy licensing at an enterprise level
In conjunction with our annual meeting, we will be hosting a PhysChem Symposium on Thursday, October 21st. This one day symposium will feature contributed talks and panel discussions on vital questions at the forefront of drug discovery research, including:
- A mechanistic understanding of the permeability of charged ionic forms
- The relationship between chemical structure and solubility
- Techniques for improving solubility within a chemical series
- Advances in pharmaceutical profiling
- Revisiting the definition of drug-likeness
Bernard Faller (Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research), Mike Abraham (University College London), and Klara Valko (GlaxoSmithKline) are a few of the leaders in academic and industrial research who will be presenting during the symposium. View a tentative agenda for the PhysChem symposium.
Our traditional dinner at La Cloche will be held on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday evening, we will be organising a social event within the Alsace region.
