Advances in Chromatographic Software
Seminar abstract: Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc., (ACD/Labs) is a software company dedicated to equipping chemists with the best possible tools. In particular, ACD/Labs' chromatography line is concerned with using chemical structures to assist the chromatographer in experimental design and data interpretation. ACD/Method Development Suite will be discussed, with emphasis on the new capabilities for the 7.0 release of the software. This tool combines structure-based prediction and starting point selection with experimental optimization routines in order to streamline chromatographic method development. Also introduced will be a new method selection tool for generic methods in high-throughput analysis, ACD/ChromGenius. ACD/ChromGenius employs accurate structure-based predictions of chromatographic behavior under gradient conditions. Results based on early studies will be discussed.
